Borrowing the all too often misquoted lines spoken by Horatio when he discovers the skull of Yorick, the court jester in Hamlet. I must report the most untimely and unexpected demise of Sluggo the snail. It was just yesterday when I observed her/him hanging on the bamboo, nibbling leaves and sipping cool water.
OK enough of the drama...the pink princess told me that a snail is too delicate of a creature for her to be responsible for. This was of course after I discovered its little, lifeless body in the cage. Like it is a surprise? The surprise was that it lasted as long as it did.
On to other matters of importance. My order from Paper Culture is on the way.
